I ordered the aluminum product and could immediately tell it was well-made. I’ve been using it with my bikepacking bags, and I must say, it works great with the full brake kit provided, not to mention the clip for attaching it to the bike. Excellent product, maybe a tad pricey, but I was tired of going crazy trying to prop up my bike just anywhere. Brilliant idea, and I might even try the carbon one for my long-haul trips.
